Our first post is dedicated to few of our new members, who joined our club during the RIO Club day!
Meet Henry, the first member of The Economics and Business club at KCC. He has been studying at KCC for 6 semesters and is currently majoring in marketing. Originally from Berkeley, California, he moved to Hawaii about 15 years ago. He first heard about the club through a presentation in his management class and decided to join because he was intrigued by the opportunity to talk with local business owners. Whenever the surf is up you can find Henry in the ocean with his board, and when he isn't enjoying the beautiful outdoors of Hawaii, he enjoys cooking. According to Henry, his stir-fries are the bomb. In the future, Henry wishes to become an entrepreneur. Everyone participating in the stock market challenge should also look out because this guy checks the stock market every morning!
Meet Deli, a marketing major, who will be graduating after this spring semester. Deli has an impressive international background. He is Mongolian, but was born in China and grew up in Japan. Because he enjoys networking and meeting new people, Deli decided that EBC was the club for him. Traveling interests him the most, and he loves going around Europe and experiencing all the different cultures. Deli is planning to build his career around his connections between Asia and the rest of the world. If he is not at Kopiko, you can find him at Subway digging into his favorite sandwich; The Spicy Italian.
Meet Hiro, a liberal arts major who is currently spending his second semester at KCC. Hiro first found out about the club when Dr. Lindo reached out to her current students and introduced the opportunity to join the Economics and Business club. Hiro is looking forward to interacting with fellow students and getting some valuable experience at the same time. Originally from Japan, Hiro enjoys reading, traveling and sports.
